Namitha Silesh is a trained psychology professional with both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Psychology, bringing together strong academic foundations and applied experience in education and mental health practice. She has worked as an Assistant Professor of Psychology, where she taught undergraduate courses across core psychological domains, and as a School Counsellor, providing structured psychological support to children and adolescents. Her professional expertise includes child counselling, emotional and behavioural assessment, and the application of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, with particular proficiency in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She is skilled in addressing concerns related to anxiety, stress, emotional regulation, and adjustment difficulties, and emphasizes practical, developmentally appropriate interventions. Drawing on her combined experience in teaching and counselling, Namitha designs and delivers learning sessions, workshops, and webinars that translate psychological theory into real-world understanding.
