Overview

This webinar examines organisational transformation from both the strategic and human perspective. Participants will explore how to move from a compelling case for change to practical adoption by connecting leadership sponsorship, stakeholder engagement, communication, manager capability and employee support.

The session considers how different groups may experience the same transformation differently, why resistance can provide useful information rather than simply being treated as opposition, and how leaders can identify barriers before they become embedded. It also explores change readiness, stakeholder and impact analysis, communication planning, reinforcement and the relationship between project delivery and the people side of change.

The final part of the webinar focuses on sustainability: how organisations can track adoption, reinforce new behaviours, learn from feedback and prevent transformation from becoming another short-lived initiative. Presentation-based scenarios are used throughout so participants can apply the principles to technology, process, structural and cultural change.

Why you should Attend

Transformation can be delivered on paper and still fail in practice. A new system may launch, a process may be redesigned or an organisational structure may change, yet expected benefits can remain unrealised if employees are unclear, managers are unprepared, resistance is misunderstood or old behaviours quickly return.

This masterclass focuses on the human and organisational conditions that turn change from an announcement into adoption. Attendees will learn how to diagnose change impacts, create stronger alignment, support people through transition and measure whether transformation is genuinely becoming embedded.

Areas Covered in the Session

  • Distinguish organisational transformation from routine change and understand why successful implementation requires both technical delivery and people adoption
  • Translate the strategic case for transformation into a clear change story that explains why the change is needed, what will be different and what success looks like
  • Assess change readiness, stakeholder groups and likely impacts so support can be targeted rather than applied uniformly across the organisation
  • Understand the roles of executive sponsors, people managers, project teams and change leaders in creating alignment and maintaining momentum
  • Develop communication and engagement approaches that build understanding, create two-way dialogue and reduce uncertainty during transformation
  • Recognise different forms of resistance and use feedback, behavioural signals and stakeholder insight to diagnose underlying barriers to adoption
  • Connect training, coaching, resources and manager support to the capabilities and behaviours people need in the future state
  • Measure transformation beyond project milestones by tracking adoption, usage, behaviour change, performance indicators and employee feedback
  • Reinforce and sustain change through accountability, recognition, continuous improvement and structured follow-up so new ways of working become embedded
