Overview

In this age of disruption, associates at all levels are faced with numerous change initiatives, multiple priorities and demands, and an expectation that they are available 24/7. As they run faster, deeper, it's taking a toll on their productivity, engagement and well-being. 78% of companies identify stress as a top workforce health risk according to the CDC and Harvard Medical School asserts that 96% of senior leaders report feeling burned out.

Self-love is the secret ingredient for skillfully handling the multiple demands and distractions of a busy life. Like a gentle mother, it eases negative self-talk and provides self-compassion to try again when we fail. Self-love empowers us, fueling our confidence and leadership presence. It urges us to dream big, take risks and innovate. Self-love provides the courage and focus to stay in the moment and in so doing, to discover the finer versions of ourselves.

The Self-love I speak of is not narcissism, selfishness or entitlement. Instead, it is built on a deep connection with your Self. This connection is generated through self-awareness and an embodied, open-hearted presence.

Although most of us have invested time and energy in loving someone or something else, few of us have taken the time to cultivate Self-love. Similarly, it is only recently that organizations have recognized the value Self-love has to their associates, organizational culture and business results. For example, Self-love.

  • Fuels self-care, without which physical and mental health deteriorates often resulting in lower productivity, burn-out, and turnover
  • Is essential in creating supportive, collaborative relationships necessary for efficiency and innovation
  • Makes supervision so much easier, as those who love themselves are more open to constructive feedback
  • Generates a positive perspective that not only builds self-confidence, it elevates others and spreads positivity throughout the work culture.

In this introductory program you'll learn how to cultivate Self-love and bring its essential components into the workplace.
